Kawasaki was never really known for motorcycles until the 1960′s when they produced the first road going 125cc bike in Japan. They were more commonly known within the country for manufacturing other machines like Boats, Trains and Aero Equipment.
To help them develop a market place for the motorcycle industry, Kawasaki purchased one of it’s leading rivals in Japan, The Mugero Company. Production of Motorbikes and Scooters started to pour off production lines around 1966, with the first ‘Big Engine’ Motorbike which was a 650cc machine called the W1.
Over the years, Kawasaki has become one of the world leaders for road racing engines for world Superbikes (SBK) and MotoGP – so it is probably no surprise to learn that they have more listed machines on the insurance register than any other motorcycle manufacturer.
Below we have set out a list of the popular machines which were listed for insurance groupings, and hope that you can find exactly what you need.
